Yello Dyno curriculum (should be taught once a week for six weeks or a shorter version could be taught in one class session of an hour)
The Yello Dyno Method is a child personal safety curriculum teaching children, without fear, pre-K thru 5th grade that teaches children to:
1) recognize deceptive behavior,
2) reawaken instincts and feelings (intuition), and
3) build self-confidence.
Issues of child abuse and abduction, drug abuse, peer pressure, internet safety, sexual abuse, and violent kids are age appropriately addressed. Conflict resolution is accomplished when children learn how to recognize and step out of dangerous situations. Children apply the tricky people concept to behavior that is dishonest or dangerous for their safety.

Recommended Audience: Any agency working with children including schools, churches, and daycare. There is a 4-person minimum for this program.

The training covers 101 information (i.e., “red” flags, reporting procedures), but will also provide a more in-depth look at victims, offenders, and the victim-perpetrator relationship, allowing participants to walk away with a better understanding of the dynamics involved. Children’s normal, healthy and unhealthy sexual behaviors can be addressed. Handouts provided, along with resource and prevention information. Training is customized for audience. CEU Certificates available to SW LPC, LMFT upon request.
