Art from the Heart

ChildSafe’s 10th annual Art from the Heart is scheduled for May 10, 2012, at the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center. The event will feature the artwork of local school children to raise funds for ChildSafe—a warm and wonderful experience of kids creating for kids. Plans are underway for the event. Professional Conference
ChildSafe’s 8th annual child abuse conference is scheduled for April 26-27, 2012, at the El Tropicano Riverwalk Hotel in downtown San Antonio (110 Lexington Avenue, 78205). The 2012 Multidisciplinary Conference on Child Abuse continues the ChildSafe traditions of great speakers and continuing education hours for professionals in our region and across Texas. Early bird registration (until April 20) is $225; later registration is $265. Continuing education hours will be available for law enforcement, the legal profession, medical professionals, social workers, therapists, and others. National Child Abuse Prevention Month / Blue Ribbon Events
The month of April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month . . . and it is filled with Blue Ribbon Events sponsored by the many agencies who serve children in San Antonio and Bexar County. Come back in March and April to locate events across the community.
