YOUR VOTE COUNTS IN THE LIVES OF CHILDREN
April is Child Abuse Awareness month and your personal vote helps ensure that more people know about ChildSafe and how to help our friends and family if the trauma of sexual abuse ever touches their lives. Knowledge is power, and ChildSafe is here to empower the San Antonio and Bexar County community to act.
Children from all over San Antonio donated artwork to help the children in our community who have been traumatized by sexual abuse. 32 pieces were selected from the art submissions to be in a city-wide competition beginning April 1st. Each piece of art is expected to raise $2,500 - $20,000 for ChildSafe’s programs and services.
On April 1st, the online exhibit for Art from the Heart will go live allowing community members to vote for their favorite art piece. For every vote received, a generous donor will contribute $1 to help children in San Antonio and Bexar County to heal. While visiting the online art exhibit, viewers can learn about ChildSafe and the important services provided to the community.

At the main event on Tuesday, April 27th, the top three winners will be announced and presented with special recognition for their contribution to the children of San Antonio and Bexar County. The community is invited to attend and tickets will be sold for $25 each. Hors d’oeuvres, Wine and Beer and Kid food and drinks will be served as you walk along the corridors of the Pearl Studio to see the student artwork…the artwork created by the hands of our compassionate youth to benefit those troubled youth who will blossom into our future.
The event will feature an art exhibit of local student’s artwork, a silent auction of gorgeous artwork provided by local and regional professional artists, music by local musicians and great entertainment consisting of various games and prizes
