ChildSafe’s comprehensive, “more than basic” training on child sexual abuse helps participants understand possible risk factors and more. The training covers:
- Child Abuse 101 information, including “red flags” and reporting procedures
- An in-depth look at victims, offenders, and the victim-perpetrator relationship
With this in-depth workshop, participants gain a deeper understanding of the dynamics involved so that children’s normal, healthy and unhealthy sexual behaviors can be addressed.
Duration: 1.5 to 3 hours
Provided to each attendee: handouts, resource list and prevention information.
Certificates and Continuing Education Credits
Certificates of Instruction are available. CEU Certificates available to SW, LPC, LMFT upon request at no additional charge.
Note: This training has been approved for both Youth Camp and Campus Programs for Minors training and meets the criteria in accordance with 25 TAC 265.12(g).
