Recommended for: Youth serving organizations, school admin/staff, preschool owners/directors/staff, professional/volunteers working with children, parents and individuals interested in the protection of children. (10 person minimum)
Stewards of Children™ is a nationally recognized, EVIDENCE-BASED sexual abuse prevention curriculum created by Darkness to Light®. This training educates adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse, and motivates them to action.
Participants have an opportunity to discuss important sexual abuse prevention issues such as child protection policies and school/organizational practices relevant to the audience.
Every participant will view a 1¼ hour video (in segments) and will receive an interactive workbook and additional resources provided by Darkness to Light® and ChildSafe.
ChildSafe is one of two agencies providing authorized Stewards of Children Facilitator training in Bexar County.
Certificates and Continuing Education Credits
CEU Certificates available to SW, LPC, LMFT upon request at no additional charge. Note: This training is an approved public school and charter school employee training that is aligned with requirements in TEC, § 38.0041.
