ChildSafe’s comprehensive, basic training on child abuse, this one-hour course includes information on all types of maltreatment — physical and sexual abuse, and neglect — and covers important information on all types of child abuse, such as:
- Definitions and statistics
- “Red flags”
- Handle outcries
- Reporting procedures
Duration: 1 hour
Provided to each attendee: Handouts, resource list and prevention information.
Certificates and Continuing Education Credits
Certificates of Instruction are available. CEU Certificates available to SW, LPC, LMFT upon request at no additional charge.
Note: This training is an approved public school and charter school employee training aligned with requirements in TEC § 38.0041.
