Go Blue for ChildSafe — April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Every April, blue becomes more than a color. Since 1989, it has been a symbol of courage, hope, and the collective decision to say: not in our community.
This April, ChildSafe is calling on Bexar County to show up — loudly, visibly, and together.
Every month, 166 new children and families walk through our doors. They come to us frightened, and they leave with forensic interviews, trauma-informed therapy, and family advocacy behind them. Our goal this April is to raise $166,000 — one dollar for every new child we serve each month.
Here’s how you can be part of it of our $166,000 goal:
- Start a peer-to-peer fundraiser and turn your network into a force for good — share your page, tell your story, and watch your friends, family, and coworkers rally around something that truly matters.
- Take it a step further and join our Legacy Wall of Courage, where your name becomes a permanent tribute to the children and families we fight for every single day.
- Don’t miss the energy of our Go Blue Community Events happening all month long across San Antonio — wear blue, show up, and stand shoulder to shoulder with people who believe every child deserves to feel safe.
You don’t have to choose just one. Do all three. Bring someone with you. Make April the month your network becomes part of something bigger than any of us.
Share this page. Wear the ribbon. Register for an event. Start a fundraiser. Bring someone with you.
